Michael is a writer, graphic designer and illustrator based in Toronto. He loves to tell stories about food, beauty and culture. Some of his words are in The Toronto Star and The Kit.

His artwork explores joy, nostalgia and surrealism through a colourful and queer lens. He often reimagines everyday things like tea, fruits and flowers into joyful prints that light up a room.

He graduated from the Toronto Metropolitan University with an M.A. in Fashion, and from the University of Toronto with an Honours B.A. in English and Media Studies. In his spare time, you’ll probably find him doodling, drinking too much coffee, testing a new cookie recipe or gaming into the night.

Michael is available for graphic design, illustration, copywriting and art licensing projects. Please send any business inquiries to michael@michaelpilon.com.
